I would go ahead and try to get them to work without the 4 way flashers turned on. Try spraying down in the button area and see if it will help you. Other recourse is to buy the multi function switch. Click here for switch and approximate price. Replacement is really easy also. Let us know.
I'll have to wait till i get my check on the third of the month,
But i will try the sprays soon an let you know.
Thanks Much again.

OK, I went out an done a litter tinkering.
First i sprayed with the clearner, then the WD-40 pushed the button up & down serveral times, The 4 ways are working with the buttonUP Is that the on position, button UP?
if so pushing the button DOWN (OFF) The turn signals are working
I guess this is same as before for me with signals working with the button DOWN But no 4 ways working, I would say the cleaner & WD got my 4 ways working again.
4 ways OFF inDOWN Position? ON in UP Position?

Yes, i'm getting a bit confused with all this, I should of stuck with a GM [:-]

THANKS EVERYBODY for the time you took out of your busy days to help me with my problems.

Does this mean that my Multi Function Switch is on it's way OUT?

Not necessarily. It could be dirt or spilled liquid that has gotten down in there. Just keep a can of lubricant handy for the future.[sm=happy046.gif] Good luck

I'm also having a similar problem. My drive belt broke and I turned the flashers on and they did not work initially. They did begin to start working hours after I parked the car. I then replaced the drive belt and the idler pulley. I got in the car and turned on the turn signal and itdid not work, however, the flashers did. I've replaced the fuse and the flasher unit. They still are not working.[:@] Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Have you tried the lubrication thing? If all the fuses are good and the 4 ways and the brake lights work, I would replace the multi fi=unction (turn signal)switch. It is easily replaced and not all that expensive. You really need to start your own thread for your problem. You can reference it to another post, but a new topic will usually recieve more attention. Good luck.
