Brake lights do not work.

Default Brake lights do not work.

I have a 99 ford taurus, i have replaced the lights, the fuses, and they will still not work, the brake light in the window works but the others do not, the harzard lights work as well. I can not figure out what is wrong

HELP!!!!!

Check all the wires at the multi function switch,,,wipers,hi-lo beam,signal lite switch assy. Switch could be defective since stop lite activation goes through this switch.

I had this problem recently on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I replaced the Brake Light Switch (25.00) which is located under the dash right behind the brake pedal. Took about 10 minutes to change. Good luck.
