1980 t-bird with a couple of issues
I have a 1980 thunderbird that I put a 91 roller motor (from mustang) in but I used the 1980 top end to keep it carbureted. I had to in stall electric fuel pump because timing cover didn’t have opening for manual fuel pump. I did how ever use the bracket system from 91 motor so it has serpentine belt. now the problems I cant get the timing set right n after it runs for 5-10 min the driver side header glows red I also eliminated the ac but have no idea what vacuum lines I can eliminate n there are a lot I also have aftermarket equal length bbk headers on it n the shift linkage cap melted from the exhaust heat n I have no clue how to adjust that so its not touching. last thing is I have a draw sum where that I cant find but it drains my battery over night I have been working on this car a while and anyone with any helpful tip would be much appreciated thanks for reading.
