My chains went hay wire and jumps teeth after guides were destroyed. Replacing chains, phasers, the whole kit.

How do I know the cams are aligned right with the crankshaft before I put chains back on?

 

if the crankshaft rotated (unknown how many times) and the cam shaft did not, how can you line it back up the way it should be before installing chains?

 

There are marks on the crank gear and the phaser gears that must be in the required position to correctly install the chains. The procedure may be found on the U tube videos, since it would be too lengthy to offer here.
