Default 2008 4.0L mercury mountaineer out of ideas

have a 2008 4.0L mountaineer. my son was driving it and called me saying that it just died driving down the road. of course he said that it didnt make any nose or stutter or anything like that but that it just shut off. battery was dead when i got there so i automatically assumed that the alternator went out on it. I changed the alternator and went ahead and put a new coil pack on it that i already had since i was already working on it. then i got a crank but no start issue. code reader said that a, "fuel rail pressure sensor circuit A high" code. so i went in and changed the fuel rail pressure sensor. I now still have the same issue. Went and checked the spark next, it has spark but a weak one, spark is yellow/orange. After that i hooked up my jump box to make sure that it had enough power and am still having the same issue of crank no start but now with no codes showing.

I pulled the 3 from the left (drivers side) and they were dry.

Ok, So we now know fuel is not getting into the combustion chamber.

The easiest thing to check first is the fuses.
If all check good, do you hear the fuel pump in the tank run for the normal 1-2 seconds when you first turn the key on,,? Yes/No
