Default 2019 f250 starter issue

I had just bought a 2019 f250 xlt that was completely dead and brought it to dealership the said it was just low voltage and they charged battery, cleared the low voltage codes from computer and said it was good to go. So to be safe brought it to second place to double check and they tested it, the battery and alternator passed but they said starter failed at 254 amps and said it’s taking 2 long to start up. Is 254 worrisome and if so what it the normal voltage for a starter on this truck. This is my first Ford in a long time.

Starter draw is generally determined by the displacement size of the engine. For example a 300 CID engine would draw somewhere near 300 amps starting.
What size, displacement engine is in your vehicle ?

I am aware you posted this request in another post. I believe the advice was solid and if necessary seek out another Ford service dept.. You should have very little or no concerns with a new vehicle. It's like , "The more questions you ask the more answers you will get"

Default Engine displacement

It is a 6.2 liter v8 and 379 cubic inches... I am bringing it to the dealership as they keep saying nothing is wrong as they tested it

So we understand just what may be going on.

I'm not sure starter draw is the issue here.
Does the vehicle take too long to fire up and run?
Starter draw can be affected by a few things. Condition of the engine, condition of the starter, temp at the time the test was done, accuracy. of the equipment used to do the test.
How many miles are on the odometer?
Is there any other reason for the concern?
Did anyone determine why the battery needed to be recharged?
Has anything addl like accessories been added to the vehicle?
There is another possible avenue that can be explored. That is to have a starter/generator shop check the vehicle. They do this a lot more than most places. Let us know what they found if anything. Can you do this ?

Does the vehicle take too long to fire up and run? Over 5 seconds not exactly sure

How many miles are on the odometer? 28k
Is there any other reason for the concern? only based on the second test I had done where they said battery And Alt passed but starter failed, after the battery drain over night
Did anyone determine why the battery needed to be recharged? They never said they found anything
Has anything addl like accessories been added to the vehicle? No just bought the truck Last week

Can you do this ? Yes I willlet you know what dealership says they were gonna compare it to another 6.2 liter v8 as factory spec says it 150 amps but like I said that didn’t sound right

Thanks for the update. For now, let's see what they come up with.
