yesterday my 53 reg ford fusion literally died and woiuld not start with a warning light combination the garage said they had never seen before. he now tells me the electronics that allow the go ahead to start are saying that the manual and auto parts of the gear box are giving off a signal that they are in gear and will not allow the car to start, apparantly the form man said he has had serveral prolems like this. surly our statutory rights mean that if ford know this is an inherant problem they have to honour the guarantee> does anyone know because he is indicating it may cost me opver £1000 woe is me...
