It's a 2013 Ecoboost 123hp.v

A couple of times now I have noticed it suddenly stop accelerating, once on the Motorway and once going uphill. After this it won't rev, maybe up to 3000 then stops.

No warning lights.

If I pull over and switch it off and on, it is back to normal.

Just drove 10 miles home and it was fine.

Any ideas?

Sometimes it will contain a pending code in the vehicle's computer that waits for a repeat of the problem before throwing a code.and engine light.
Have the computer checked for any pending codes may provide some direction.
