Need help with MyKey system

Angry Need help with MyKey system

Hello i just bought a 2010 focus, the car came with 2 keys. and i had 1 key was limited with MyKey, I wanted to disable the limited key and somehow now the 2 keys are limited , and the system says 2 keys limited and 1 administrator key, how can i disable this crap?

You would be better off if you made an attempt to learn how your security system works. Pretty difficult to by-pass considering they didn't want thieves to be able to do that.

t might be time to call a capable locksmith or dealer to correct what you have undone.

I dont know how you would have done what you say you did but if you are correct then you would need to go a dealer and there is a way to remove mykey from the system, I dont know how to do it without an administrative key but I have heard there is a way using IDS.

I just bought a 2013 Edge. After I'd had it checked out by a mechanic and driven it for a day or two, it suddenly began stalling out. A yellow wrench appeared and a message from MyKey popped up stating 38 miles, speed limited to 80 mph. I stopped the car and restarted it and was able to safely drive home. Once there, I used my other key to access MyKey settings and "cleared" all MyKey settings. Is there anything else I need to do?
