Preformance chips ??

Default Preformance chips ??

Do those chips that claim to increase preformance by fooling the cpu work ? Will you still pass emissions ? , Thanks

Well, it depends on what you're calling a "Performance Chip". Are you talking about a "SuperChip", "Diablo", "Edge", "Bully Dog", "Hypertech" and others, or are you talking about the .50 resistor stuck in a 1.00 box and sold as a performance chip which is basically useless?

In other words, the brand names work and the $30 ebay ones don't. What are you looking to put it in?

For a 1991 Aerostar you would have to get ehat is called a performance module. They aren't programmable, but they do help give the engine more power and such.
