I recently purchased a remote start from my local Ford dealer and had them install it. I found out that when i start the car, 2017 Ford Escape, there is no indication tat the car has started. No parking lights or anything. Also noticed that when the hood is open the car will still start with the remote starter.
Took it back and they kind of gave me the run around saying they will need to order a switch for the hood and lights.
I have had several vehicles with remote start installed myself and factory installed, and they all would indicate with a parking light that the vehicle was running. Also there was a sticker under the would warning of this vehicle had a remote start.

Just trying to get some feed back on this issue.
