Default Turn it over without PATS?

Hi all, other than it obviously won't start, is there any harm in turning over an 05 explorer with a key that is non PATS? My raplacements haven't yet arrived, and as you may have read in a previous post, I bought a wreck that sat on its side a while. I'm anxious to pull the plugs and crank it over. Will i cause any extra fault codes, or ultimately myself any extra money to clear anything in the computer? Bear in mind I do have to get a locksmith to come program my new keys if they ever arrive from ebay.......I'd like to have the whole plugs pulled thing over with when he gets here, so once he's done programing, it's instant starting ya know? Thanks.....

You will probably find it will not turnover without the original keys if they are the PATS system. The PATS may have been tripped already. Good Luck!
