Exclamation 2000 F350 7.3 DRW Check Engine Light IDM

New to the Forum,

I'm going to tell you to much so that hopefully at the end this you will have all of the puzzle pieces I have.

I picked up the truck from a family member that let it sit for the better part of 10 years. It has 220K miles on it. I was able to put 2 batteries in it and warm the glow plugs at the adapter to turn over. It made it home from a 2 hour drive. I am stoked! I put a set of tires on it and just drove it for a week to let the problems start to arise after its long sit. Immediately, the transmission pump went out and was pissing fluid on the ground. i replaced the pump, seal and filter. Changed the Oil. All was good! The fuel pump gave out on me shortly after and I replaced that. I was afraid of the junk being in the fuel line coming from the fuel tank to the pump so I blew air in the line pushing back the inevitable crud and changed the fuel filter. I was still having a starting issue so i took the fuel return line loose just to see if fuel was even circulating. It was! Tightening the fuel line back I busted the Regulator attached to the fuel cup on top of the valley. The threads from the fuel line was stuck in the old regulator so I did a little bit of rigging and cut the fuel line and clamped a rubber hose (fuel injection rated) over the fuel line ends. I got it to turn over after the fuel filter, regulator and pump were replaced. I clearly had a bank down though. Half power. 0-60 in 12 days. I was able to get it to work and hooked it up to our Zues Snap-on diagnostic tool. The truck didn't really like communicating with Zues so I used a mobile diagnostic company that said the codes were pointing back to a dead IDM. They warned me I would go through a couple before I got a good one and they were correct. The 3rd was the magic number. Check engine light stayed on but it had full power. Just seemed to run a little choppy. I parked it for 2 days and got back in it and no check engine light. No chopping or chattering. It seemed to be running perfectly! Then of course the water/fuel separator valve gave on it and I had a small leak. I'm not going to lie, I took a weekend off and just didn't feel like messing with it. Every now and then driving it the check engine light would pop on and 4th and 5th gear acts as if the air to fuel ratio was messed up. Bogging until boost was built and then it would run fine once high in the gear. But the shake was TREMONDOUS. I had a back pressure code and I replaced it and cleaned the tube running to the manifold. I was in the clear until i wasn't. Check engine light stays on. My code reader point back to the IDM. So I got another and it had the same reaction. I drove it to work with the IPC sensor unplugged with no difference. So I replaced that! Still the same! I can't find a vacuum leak, I did a Buzz test and can hear all of the injectors! It idles great. 1-3 shifts and has all the power I am used to. once it shifts to 4th. It Bogs severely. 5th the same. If I continue at highway speeds the vibration is manageable but when you hit 4th going 40 miles around town it will shake the cup out of the cup holder.

Perplexed! help a brother out!
