2004 6L no start
Hi Guys,
I'm a new member so I hope I am posting this in the correct place. I have 2004 F350 dually with a 6L. A month or 2 ago it started becoming hard to start. It would start and run for 4 or 5 seconds then die. after a few attempts it would start then run fine all day. last week it quit on the road and I had to be towed. I have Scan gauge and noticed while starting the high pressure oil would only build to 350psi. I put in a new Motorcraft IPR and the pressure would build to 750 or so but still no start. the iCV was low so changed that and got .24 volts but still no start. ICP 738, IPR 84%, Ficm Volatge 48v, Snc 1. Charged 110lbs air pressure through the ICP (yes, at the back of the motor) and can hear a leak. Seems equal on both sides. When I charge the IPR the leaking noise disappears. What do you think? Should I look to the heads? or the pump or fittings under the intake?
Any input appreciated. This is my primary work truck so im out of commission until I get it fixed.
Thank you, Tim
