Default Cools down to start

2011 Ford escape xlt 2.5. With no indication, the escape will not have electrical power, dead like the battery is not connected. After about an hour everything lights up like a Christmas tree and ready to start. I've had the pcm tested good, fuses good, all the sensors in the steering column are good, someone said test alternator good, any ideas out there what it could be?

Just about all the items you mentioned are supplied power through the battery cables. Suggest checking the battery cable connections where connected to the vehicle.

A little side note, looking at the connections does nothing. They need to be removed, cleaned and reinstalled. Can you do this?

Resistance from faulty electrical connections increases with heat. I agree, it's time to clean up all electrical connections and go from there if needed.
