I am a new camer from Democratic Republic of Congo. My first langage Is french, I hope you will be able to understand my english.
I have a little point service and a customer ask me to program a new key for hits Ford Edge 2014 blade key. Unfortunately, during programation we erase all keys. I know that it Is nécessary to program 2 new keys. I bought preprogrammed transponder from sylca Dst80 (ID4D) Mode ID83/80 bit and I use n’a Autel IM508 for to program. All procédure work with success but the last step didn’t work. I erased all DTC: B10D7:05-0A, B10D7:8F-08, B10D8:00-0A, U0212:00-08 all on BCMII. There Is 3 weeks car is parked. I need an help please. I hope somebody have enough knowledge on programming keys on Ford. It make me crazy! Thx to all!

 

Having the tool is not enough. You need a security clearance to access security info from manufacturers website.
Not sure how that works with a foreign country.

Try to find someone that can get access to the manufacturers website so they can code the 2 keys, then you can code up to 8 keys.yourself.
You do have to have 2 working keys.

 

Thank you for your response. I want to understand the procedure. I don't know if Autel gives us access to Ford's secure data site. The fact is that it is certain that I do not have an authorization. I trained and received a patent for key copies. I asked for help from a dealer in Belgium but it is an American car. Who can I contact? What should I ask him for security code and how to use them with the material I have? Thanks in advance!

 

Your best move in a case like this is to contact a dealership, provide proof of ownership and they should be able to make you 2 working keys.

 

Not sure on Autel.
But you can program PATS keys in ForScan.
You'd need a ELM327 OBD adapter, they're not expensive and the approved units are listed on their site. Then, a no cost download of the ForScan. You would then request an extended license agreement from their site. This would allow for all the keys to be deleted/erased , and a fresh coding install.

I hope you are fine and all members of this topic. I installed the Forscan program with the extension. And after a long wait I received the ELM. So I tried to reprogram the 2 keys but without success. I cannot use the erase keys procedure since the Pats does not contain any keys. I only have access to the key programming menu. But after the 12 minutes, the message Key programming failed. Even the Pats reset menu is not accessible following 0 registered keys. Should I start by resetting something before the procedure? All the videos available on YouTube only deal with the all key lost case with 2 keys saved, but no 0 key saved case. If a content or procedure in the case 0 registered key would be no refusal! Help!!!!
