I have been a Tundra owner under their lease program for the past 10 years. My 2022 lease ended today and after thinking it over, I gave the dealer the truck and went down the street to their sister Ford dealership and walked out with the new keys, err fobs, to a shiny Rapid Red 2024 Lariat.
I have a 2-horse gooseneck weekender that I haul my singleton horse in and have been wanting to move up to a 3/4 ton. So here I am. Technology in autos has nearly passed me by. I had no idea all the bells and whistles that were now being added to trucks and this truck is LOADED with them.
Unfortunately, the bells and whistles have improved, but the documentation is sorely lacking.
I thought I would join a few forums, read some historicals and see if I can get answers to my top questions. I'm bound and determined to understand how to capitalize on these new to me features.
Photo of my horse-hauling, ozone depleting, bunny killing, end to humanity, gasoline Godzilla after arriving at home. I'm totally in love with this truck. I can't wait to haul for the first time with it.
