Smile Just A Howdy

I just wanted to say howdy from Oregon! I currently just have my '97 Ford 350 Econoline cargo van. It served as my house, essentially, for the last three years before my getting my own apartment. Before this, I had a little '94 Ranger. I miss that truck, it's actually what got me started on learning some basic repairs as the engine is was super open and the engine was a very basic stock. Not even an AC system. 10/10 would recommend if you wanted a starter vehicle for just learning how to do some repairs. I like learning about the basics of mechanical care and better understanding how my vehicle works. Who doesn't like saving hundreds of dollars for a repair? I sure do.

A bit about me, I'm 33, work in freight dispatch but have had a bunch of jobs in my life so I have a smattering of all kinds of skills - I am definitely an expert in absolutely nothing. My hobbies tend to learn to the artsy - I like to draw/paint and have lately been making little sculptures and painting glass eyeballs. I like being outside, especially with my dog because she's my everything, and looking at creepy-crawlies.

I'm glad to be on a forum that has such a collection of actual, hands-on experience that is just shared without an agenda so thanks to everyone that has contributed their knowledge on here.

It's always good to have another expert possibly like me join the forum.

I've been an expert for a while now, and it might be a good time to share my definition of the type expert I am.

An expert, "Is someone that knows more and more about less and less until he knows practically everything about almost nothing at all."

Have a good day folks.
