Oil filter problem

Have 1949 Ford coupe, V8 flathead and the oil filter leaks at top.
I heard there is a restrictor fitting that solves the problem by reducing the flow.
Does anyone know the part or web site for such an item ?

f this is the type oil filter that has a cartridge and cover gasket, It should not leak if the gasket is replaced at the time the cartridge is replaced..
