I need a 79 F150 (351/400) C6 Auto. Transmission, and I needed it last week. I have looked all over the net cant find anything. I picked one up from a junk yard and it did not work, not suprised. But when I took it back to exchange it they did not have any more. So I am stuck with a transmission that wont go in reverse. I don't see the big deal but evidently some people think you need reverse. I may disagree but then again I still haven't figured out what the heck I need a brakes for either... Cause these "spinnin' wheels ain't made for stoppin'!" But thats a whole other story. If any one knows anything please let me know asap. I would feel bad if I had to go to walmart and wait for the next 79 to pull up and jack its trani... lol! I would never do that but the thought has crossed my mind.
