Default Bad tail light module... can I run wires from the working side?

I have a bad rear light module and I simply dont have the money to replace it. I was wondering if I can just power the left tail light by running the wires from the working right side. If so which wires are needed?

It a 1999 Windstar

Thanks

The electronic modules are designed to detect the slightest excess current draw and shut down for the system's own protection and that dumps extra cost on the owner because they usually cannot be by-passed by loading down one of the other modules. All this was done to reduce wiring and manufacturing costs and instead of the manufacturer paying , now the owner pays. Make sure everything is in good working order like power and ground connections. Sometimes we get lucky.
