Default 99 E150 Radio issue?

The buttons and dials light up but the face does not. Should I just replace the radio? There is no radio either, its like its dead?/ or maybe just sticky and wont turn on because its so gross inside haha.

I know you have 4.2L but please always include that everytime you start a thread, check my signature below.

It's personal preference if radio is so important to you than the other issues.
1) Can you take a screenshot of your radio?
2) Are you sure you have speakers at your doors? Any speaker at your rear door?

Again, Cargo E150 only front speakers, from my knowledge, I do not like how you are telling me how to speak and ask questions it comes off as snooty, I just joined, if I choose not to add my vehicle in my sig, that's not an issue, please do not make it one.

I have the basic 99 AM/FM radio.

And 2nd I am asking a thread to a related issue and not adding extra un-needed info to keep it "Neat"

Keep in topic please to my question or kindly pass.

A little FYI, The radio is one of the several modules in the vehicle CAN (Controller Area Network) system.
Suggest you check with your local dealership if a certain radio, other than original, will work and not disable the net work which involves ABS and Stability control.

Will do @hanky My Radio lights up but nothings coming out of it, my antenna is busted too but still attached heh. I can press the power button on the radio and zilch/nada/cero. The clock doesn't even show so I am wondering if its a broken radio at this point or a loose wire in the connections. I am not worried about Stability and ABS at this point.

Most radios have 2 types of power supplied. One constant for clock and memory, and one after the ign is turned on.
You might check all the fuses to insure all power as not been interrupted.
Not too many radios will provide any sound without a good antenna. If the antenna signal is grounded , the signal cannot get into the radio .
Make sure that wire in the center of the antenna cable is not touching ground any where including outside where the antenna is mounted.

Above diagram locate that from your alternator to your cowl, clean using 91% isopropyl alcohol and wire brush, use ohmmeter to check make sure it's less than 2 ohm.
You can also tell by now why is engine size important, too important that I had to mention that on my signature, in order to provide the correct diagrams.

Above shows just the index page, to click thru them check Pinpoint-Test.pdf below.

Never forget to check if you have speakers at your front door, what if the previous owner removed them? Your radio won't give you any sound if the speakers are missing, that's why I mentioned this in my last post. Check the pdf below.
