Where is the easiest place to tap into my throttle and RPM signal? 2008 P-71.

 

Can we ask why you are asking? Maybe we can save you from some problems.

 

I need throttle signal to talk to my NOS controller.

 

Your vehicle has a CAN, Controller Area Network system and tampering with one of the inputs could cause problems.

What is a NOS controller ?
Does the place you purchased it from recommend it for your particular vehicle?
Many times items are for sale out there that are really not compatible with the new systems on some late year vehicles.
When first installed they seem to be OK, but a short time later strange problems develop and we assume it can't be the add-on because it worked before.
This is when it takes a tech a while to pin down the problem and disconnect the add-on to verify it is the thing causing the problems . Diagnostic time is getting more expensive every day.
You could always verify this with your local dealership service dept.

You'll have an electronic throttle control. The Tach signal isn't available at the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor, but possibly at the ETC module..
