Default 1986 Econoline frame shortening?

I have an 1986 E-150 luxury van. Full Ford body but 4 captains chairs, sink, fold down bed bench seat, etc. The problem is that it hasn't been on the road since about 2001, and had VERY low miles for it's age. Been sitting a garage collecting dust for close to 25 years.

What I was thinking about was making a silly vehicle out of it. Shorten it until the driveshaft is about 1-2 feet long kind of short. Or however much it can be shortened by removing straight frame sections. Yes I know it's a ton of work, and I DO have the skills. I was wondering if anyone made a weld on splice kit to do this? Like all of the stiffening plates etc?

And yes There's a LOT of junk in there too. The van will be pulled out of the garage soon, lots of stuff tossed, etc.

Some people might pay a good price for a vintage vehicle like yours.

Believe it or not , some movie makers could be interested before you begin your project.
Otherwise , happy projecting !!

Some people's junk is other people's treasure.

It has those really old school extruded aluminum DeeZee running boards on it too although they're partially damaged from a vehicle transport issue.

Not quite this short as this looks kind of ridiculous. Maybe a foot or two longer so you can tell something was done but not sure what.
