2002 ford e350 super duty front brake issues
I have a 2002 ford e350 super duty class c motorhome which I’ve owned for 5 years and never had an issues until now. The issue is my front brakes are dragging. I noticed a strong brake smell the other day and pulled over the front brakes were very hot and had a strong brake smell. In my efforts to diagnose I found the front brake caliper slide pins were dry and corroded which seemed like an obvious issue so I decided to do a full brake job. I replaced the front calipers, pads, brackets, rotors, rubber brake hoses and did a full brake fluid flush. After that the issue is still here. I decided to go further and replaced the master cylinder and booster and verified none of my brake lines are clogged or have restricted flow. I’ve verified the booster rod to the master cylinder is the correct length and yet the issue is still here. With the front end jacked up off the ground I can spin the tires by hand but it’s very stiff and they go maybe 1/2 turn before the wheel stops abruptly. Going further into diagnosing the issue I have cracked the front brake bleeders which releases fluid yet the brakes still don’t free up which tells me the issue is at the caliper/rotor. Yet all my parts are brand new, correct part numbers and I can’t find any issues?? Has anyone experienced this before? I feel like I’m loosing my mind.
