A/C problems. Need help please!!
I own an 06 E-350 with 30k miles and just got it back from the dealer to have the A/C fixed as it was blowing less than cold air. They replaced an o ring somewhere and recharged the system. My problem is the A/C still seems to not work very well when the van is at a stop idling, especially the rear A/C....it blows warm air. Then as soon as the van is moving it seems to blow cold again. I recently noticed also that if at a stop, I can put it in neutral and get the RPM's up above 1500 and the air will start to blow cold again. Any ideas if this can be fixed so that the air is cold even when idling? Dealer said this is normal for this type of A/C. Should I take it back and have them go over it again? Thanks in advance.
Listen for any vacuum leaks. If nothing - try someone more qualified to handle your A/C needs because telling you everything's alright when you know it's not isn't any help - it's an insult.
