Default Multiple issues Thread. 99 E150 4.2L ABS style unknown at current.

I am checking out red brake light on dash tomorrow 3/6/2025 per heiko requests.
radio not working, will check fuse 27 and other fuses later tomorrow after cleaning interior, musica es importante! It lights up but nothing
I need a wiring diagram of the whole vehicle if anyone has one. I have 3rd tail light (high mount technicality) out I want to rewire it and I know it may be attached to interior dome light in the back and its giving me issues.

@heiko No red brake light comes on hitting e-brake, also my front pads are kinda icky, that should answer my brake question . That or the calipers are sticking from sitting for 3 years.

If at all possible please edit and revise the subject title yourself to something like 99 E-150 No 3rd brake light (wiring needed).

Not fixing the post. nothing wrong with it. I asked for a full wiring diagram of the vehicle not just the brake lights

Find below pdf on the 3rd brake light removal. If you think you want to remove it, please do so with care. Blame Ford for having that in that up high position exposing to the sun during day time for 24 years. Use goo gone original perhaps 1/3 of the bottle then remove it slowly. If you damage the red lens buy a new one around $80 depo brand at rockauto, coupon 5% code to use: 292739446259187330 till 3/7/25 midnight CT, or search google for new code.

You asked for the wiring problem of it so let's go over it below. Check pdf below.

If one lamp is working and the other is not, check the splice. Also use voltmeter to verify.

Oh I broke the ABS plastic, the screws were stuck in. I have 1 of 2 bulbs working. The right bulb aka number 2 isnt working. I'm going to eventually get one of those F1 style 3rd tail lights and make a custom 3rd brake light.

For now I will use the 1 left side 3rd brake light bulb, it works. I taped up the area with red lens tape squares and some white duct tape.

Ford made that area a stupid design indeed.

I have alldata any car any year up to 2009 but realistically up to 2007 because some of the 2008-2009 are incomplete and missing info. But sorry I can't publish it anywhere nor can I put everything in usb thumb drive at least 50GB in total and mail it, alldata wouldn't let me, I also wouldn't do it even though I know I can make $1000+ monthly from it.

That said, multiple issues in a single thread is the opposite nobody likes, please take my suggestion and help this community.

All good, I'll get better on how to get better my posts, and dont worry about the wiring diagrams, I have a knack for it anyway I should've asked what's the colors of the 2 wire pigtails instead and all the dome light in the rear wiring colors.

I attached the entire brake lamp circuit in Brake_Lamp-Electrical_Diagrams.pdf
I also captured just the high-mounted lamp with a diagram shown above. You see LG (light green) is the 12v source, BK (black) is ground at G400 ground point.
For color abbreviations please check your other post I submitted that already previously.
