I am dealing with some bugs with power saving mode to avoid draining the battery and was on vacation last week. But rest assured, I am still working on it.

Who else feels Ford should be a LOT more Involved in making this solution a reality?

I wonder if there are 2008 Escapes with Nav that do not have this problem due to a firmware update or a newer Nav DVD.
My System Info shows:
HW: 8L8T-18K931-AF
SW: 3.030000
And it is definitely affected by this bug. Are there any Escape or Mariner owners that do not have this problem that could share this info?

I'm very curious to know how you're project is progressing. I can hardly look at my dash without feeling a deep surge of frustration towards Ford and their engineering team who knew this particular beast would eventually return home to roost yet let it loose anyway. It's just really difficult to fathom.
