What's it usually mean when your transmission keeps shifting too early.. I gotta pretty much put the gas all the way down to make it go through the gears sometimes it goes 1st 2nd 3rd so fast my cars not going fast enough to handle being in the higher gear and it'll start shaking. Also every time I co.e to a stop it about dies like you did when you were learning to drive a stick and you let the clutch out too fast

I suspect there may be a speed sensor problem and this would need to be verified before spending any $$$ needlessly on just a guess.

If for instance the trans and powertrain modules are getting a speed reading that is too high , the system could react to that and skip to the higher gears.
