Default IDLE PULLY SCREW stripped Out the Thread on Engine

I have a 2006 Ford Escape XLT 4 cly. The Idle pully screw stripped out the hole on the engine. Could I cut off the head of an 8mm bolt and insert the cut off head bolt into the engine bolt hole. Fill the hole with Extreme High Heat
j-b weld epoxy putty Then put the pully on and place a washer and nut on it. If this sounds do able is there another high heat epoxy that would work better? I can't ge a drill into the close space (3-4 inches to drill out and put in a helicoil.

Can't tell too much from the pix, but that bolt is under tremendous tension and heat and do not think any temporary repair will hold up..

This is going to cost some $$ to do it right.

What you might consider if there is enough meat for a helicoil, purchase the tools you need to do it right and do it once.
Don't know what shops might be near you, but a good machine shop should be able to handle this without any problem.
From working with some of these type problems , have learned the value of doing it right ONCE !
This can get pretty expensive if it lets go in the road.

Are you doing from the engine bay or passenger wheel well, don't you have a cordless ratchet like this:

then a low profile 3/8 drive to 1/4 hex bit adapter you should be able to extract it out.
