Can’t find replacement VVT solenoid seal for Valve Cover
1999 Escort Zx2 DOHC
I’m not sure why it’s so hard to figure this out but I can’t find the circle gasket/seal that goes around the VVT solenoid anywhere. Paint has been chipped off the valve cover so I’m cleaning everything up and I wanna strip the remaining paint and repaint the cover…. BUT I can’t find a replacement seal online and neither can orileys. I’m afraid to take it out because it might break and it won’t go back on.
Does this gasket come installed on the valve cover and can you not buy a replacement???
