Keep in mind if there is a high resistance on the circuit, you may have voltage (meter), but no amperage, that is why a test light is preferred (load)

Yes, I'm an electrician. The resistor for the front blower was just changed and the wiring harness has signs of getting hot. Im wondering if there is too much resistance due to poor continuity causing it to draw down the voltage to a a point that the main relay drops out. Just a theory.

If you are wondering about a high draw, check with an amp clamp

If you want to,
Take out the blower motor and see how free it is to move.
If it has high drag due to lack of lubrication, you will be able to see that and possibly add some oil to the bearings if needed.
Also, if you want to at this time, you can check for how many amps it is pulling , much easier to do when it is out. They do pull a few amps 15-20 would not be too much.
As you know, some wires will get warm with current flowing through them, but should not get hot !
You can also decide to replace the motor if you want to do the job once.
