HELP 2004 explorer battery/alternator issues

Your nephew should be able to locate the current drain if he knows how to use your meter. If not, let us know , we should be able to help.

I would be curious as to how they ran the "drain" test.

Rusty, My nephew came over and used the meter to do a variety of testing, he told my son to find some wire that came out of the battery ( it was kind of concealed) they found this wire and it was corroded, they stripped and fixed it, reconnected it. When he started the truck, the battery light went out immediately and its running fine now! Thanks for all the advice, saved us a ton of money
