New to the group and happy to be here.

I drive a 1996 F150 as farm vehicle where I work, and recently it's been having some challenges with power.

Today the truck stalled out, after driving for a brief period of time, while in drive.
This worked for a while until I stopped and tried to excelerate again.
There was no power, and the engine stalled out.
I then turned the truck on again, and put the truck in 1st gear.
That didn't help, so I tried driving in second gear.
This worked enough for me to go 20 miles an hour, but I was pressing on the gas and the engine was straining.

Any suggestions on what the issue might be, and how to repair it?

Always good to know condition of fuel filter. When was it last changed?
