I have a 2001 F150 4x4 with 4.6 Triton. Transmission went bad. Transmission Tag numbers are as follows,

A friend has a 2000 F150 4x4 with 4.6 Triton with a good transmission.. Transmission Tag is as follows
PKF-CR2
1L3P-7000-JA 1R

Both are Autos... Will the one from 2000 Fit into the 2001?

 

On the driver's door pillar should be a label with build info on it. What are the trans codes for each if the two vehicles?

 

 

It would appear that you should be able to use either trans.
