So I’ve had code P0308 for quite a while which is due to 60 psi compression test I did last year. It’s been basically running that way for quite some time. However yesterday it would no longer drive down the road and would stall out. Can rev If I pulse the pedal but any steady pedal causes engine to bog down. Won’t idle for long before stalling. Throwing new codes P0430 P2195 and P2197. Can’t find any vacuum leaks by spraying starter fluid anywhere. Wife did put in 1/4 tank of E85 the night before. I thought maybe was bad gas so I’ve put in new gas up to a half tank and a bottle of cat cleaner and run it for 5 min at as much RPM I can get but nothing. I’m stumped, any help is GREATLY appreciated!

 

Does your tool allow you to get any fuel trim readings?

 

Well after limping it over to the nearest gas station and filling the tank with regular, it now runs normal!! We did contact the gas station that the wife got the E85 from and asked if there were any other complaints but they referred us to corporate who said there hadn’t been any. Either bad gas or it won’t run E85 now?! Not sure which.
