Default F150 10 Speed Transmission

My 2018 F 150 King Ranch has been having major transmission. Crazy Shifting, Hard Shifting, Going into some type of neutral thing, Goes to Ford and 3 weeks later a trans flush, and rebuild something with the trans all fixed. for a few days. Truck goes back, No problems found. It shutters when shifting from first to third. Then The shuddering begins again, goes from 10th gear to 1st gear. Shifts hard when down shifting from 10th to 8th. When passing on Highway goes into neutral. Truck goes back it this week. How long of this BS before they have to put a new trans in. I love the truck but enough is enough!

Your frustration is understandable..

That trans is relatively new to a lot of shops and the dealer tech may be new at it too.
Intermittent problems are a tech's worst nightmare and some problems can't always hit the nail on the head.
It is not a new truck so there could be a few reasons for the problem.. From the bill you rec;d , what did they rebuild ?

They rebuilt the valve, body flush the system. It helped for a couple days now the more I drive the worse it gets like I said the last time it took three weeks to rebuild the valve body. I can only imagine what it will take to pull the transmission. Ford knows that there is a problem since there are several class action law suits. The dealer is a very very reputable dealer with very experienced mechanics. This problem is not hit and miss.

You might try again and see if the dealership will honor any kind of warranty on their work..

well, the truck is still under warranty and I have a platinum warranty to boot. I just don’t want my truck being torn apart when Ford knows the transmissions are bad the dealership is great
