Default Help please!!

I have a 2006 F-150 with 5.4. I had a mis-fire in the #8 cylinder so I tried a coil pack and that was'nt it. Well I've read the horror stories about changing the plugs in this truck so last night I sprayed PB Blaster on the plug and left it over night to soak. This morning I tried getting it out and it backed right out, I thought thank God but then I noticed the shaft on the end of the plug was gone! I have always been a DIEHARD Ford man but this is the stupidest design Ford has every made. I guess the old plugs in older models were'nt hard enough. To say the least i'm in a bind now. I've read there is a kit you can buy to remove it. How does it work and where can I get one? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

ford spark plug removal tool - Bing

There are many ways to buy it. Directions are in the box. You can buy them at local parts houses.

The kind I use with 99.9 % sucess is where it pushes the porcelain down a bit then thread the extractor in and retrieve the rest. You'll be relieved to know that the 09 and up went back to the old style.
