Led 1157 bulb in 1959 F100

I installed Sylvania 1157R super bright red LED bulbs and Led 2 prong flasher in my 1959 F100 and they do not work. Original bulbs and flasher did. What am I missing?

LEDs are polarity sensitive and this should be checked to rule out that problem.

LEDs do not consume as much power as regular lamps and may not pull enough to make an ordinary flasher work
