I recently bought a used 2019 F-150 Lariat that has heated and cooled seats. However, when they cleaned the car they didn't do a great job and the passenger side seat cooler button would get stuck and was difficult to get unstuck so that the seat cooler wasn't permanently on. When I was trying to clean it last night, the button popped off which was fine, but when I was cleaning it with some warm water, a small piece of the plastic broke off. I've been trying to track down a replacement, but it has been nowhere to be found on the ford parts website. Does anyone out there know what part number it may be perhaps? Or where I could order a replacement?
Thanks. Front view of the button that is from the passenger side Right piece of plastic that broke Another angle of the piece of the plastic that broke
Your gonna need a whole new climate control panel.
The buttons are not available separately.
If you post a picture of your dashes radio/climate control section I can give you the name of and instructions for replacing said panel.
OK so I believe it is called a "Front Controls Interface Module"
I do not believe the HVAC portion is available separately.Removal
NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
NOTE: If installing a new module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool prior to removing the module. This information must be downloaded into the new module after installation.
Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the PMI process for the FCIM following the on-screen instructions.
Release the clips and remove the instrument panel speaker grille.

Remove the bolts, release the clips and remove upper instrument panel storage tray.
If equipped disconnect the electrical connector.

I appreciate your help with this. I spoke with my dealership and they believe this may be covered under my bumper to bumper warranty so I am going to test that route before I try the DIY. Who knew it would be such a hassle for such a small piece of broken plastic.
Ohh shot I totally missed your still under bumper to bumper warranty, your dealer shouldn't have any issue getting it covered, if they refuse go to another dealer.
Yeah its annoying when a little thing fails and the only way to get it is with a larger expensive item.
