2002 f250 Speedometer stop working
Seems like im running out of options. So far I have changed out the Speed Sensor,Checked for any damage to wire housing and checked the fuses that go to the speedometer. No Luck!
Is there a process to ensure there is power going to my VSS. If with the use of a Multimeter, please let me know how(what setting do I put it on to check) As mentioned in original post I do not see any damage to wire housing but you never know . Thanks
Check on the driver's side of your vehicle's transmission , on the tail shaft housing, there should be a sending unit that sends trans output shaft speed and on a lot of trans that is where the speedometer gets it's speed signal. If you remove it and with the key on spin it, it should register something on the dash unit , does it?
