Is there a process to ensure there is power going to my VSS. If with the use of a Multimeter, please let me know how(what setting do I put it on to check) As mentioned in original post I do not see any damage to wire housing but you never know . Thanks

Check on the driver's side of your vehicle's transmission , on the tail shaft housing, there should be a sending unit that sends trans output shaft speed and on a lot of trans that is where the speedometer gets it's speed signal. If you remove it and with the key on spin it, it should register something on the dash unit , does it?

Raining heavy now but will check it out.Does this sending unit have wires going to it?Whats it look like ? Wires that look like those going to VSS ? Thicker gauge wire that look like a coaxial cable? Does the removal require a couple bolt removals or is it more intense ? Thanks for your help !

Should have regular wires going to it. One bolt holds a forked type clamp that holds unit in place.
