Well for all of those that think you can't disable the door chime on a newer F-250, you are wrong. Out of personal necessity I took my 2019 F-250 to the local repair shop that is well trusted where I live and when they looked at it they said there is no way to turn it off, just like everyone else thinks. I had previously called reputable dealers as well and asked them about it and received the same response as everyone else. What I did find out from my local repair shop is he the schematic for the key in the ignition. It's pretty simple. A power wire comes from the fuse panel (fuse #18) on the passenger kick panel to the key switch and when the key is inserted another wire sends the signal to a computer. So I traced the wire to the key switch and unplugged it. It's the blue/grey wire that goes into a connector on the LH side of the steering column. The plastic is easy to take off of the steering column and you Do Not need to cut the wire. Unplug the connector, pop the red thing out of the connector and use a little pick or screw driver to release the terminal. Its the 3rd wire up from the bottom of the connector. Everything else will still function as it's supposed to with this wire removed. The only thing that is disabled is the stupid door chime when the key is inserted. And it didn't take a genius to figure this out. Your Welcome!
