Hello everyone,

I'm new to the thread but am trying to figure out this radio issue I'm having.
No sound comes from the radio or blue tooth. The truck still makes all of the audible chimes / ding noises just nothing from the radio. I've tried control, Alt, Deleting the truck (disconnect battery for a few minutes) checked all fuses even remotely associated with the radio /audio to no avail. I've done some reading from other forums / YouTube they suggested it could be the Audio Control Module (if that's the proper nomen) but that bad boy is $200-$300.... on Ebay.
Obviously not trying to drop that much money on a guess if it can be helped.

Does the radio show any signs it is being turned on ?

 

Yes the screen works, and all other functions of the radio screen work as advertised. The radio / audio button on screen is physically there but when selected it does nothing. The physical radio power button on the volume **** does nothing as well. also the "sound" setting in options is not selectable (grayed out). that was something new I noticed today.

 

Try a reset. Check here.

 

The soft reset did not work.
Does anyone have a illustrated parts breakdown of the dash or the audio system? i am just trying to locate the Audio Control Module (ACM).
