Hello team,

I have a F250 with a 3 speed auto and a 460 under the hood.

Having issues with the shifting and after massive amounts of keyboard time I am turning to a forum for help.

It has been running mint for ages but now it is shifting super hard into second and third, no clunking noises and sometimes in drive it wont get out of first.
Wondering if someone else has had this issue and knows where to start looking.

It's always good to tell us what kind of maintenance was/has been done like, when was the trans fluid and filter changed?

 

Has had a engine and tranny rebuild at 200,000

Fluids have been changed recently as well with no color change yet to the oil still clear looking not black so fresh as bro.

Before I could offer anything worthwhile need to know how many bolts hold on the trans pan.
