Default No Power! No Warning

Is it possible to just loose power and have no battery life without warning? Even after charging batteries.
batteries are only 5 years old. 2019 f250 Lariat.

You need to check all your wiring and connectors. Also use a voltmeter to verify the voltage to see if the battery can hold the charge or not. The charger might indicate the battery is fully charge after 5+ hours and you might get 12.75V when you disconnect the charger. You wait an hour you check the battery voltage with a voltmeter if you get below 12V then your battery is probably bad. If yours is a "flood" type (not maintenance free type), after a full charge pry off the 2 caps on top and check the water level, add only distilled water, don't overfill it, one inch down from top at least, then recharge again. If your battery can't hold a charge still, and if you use ctek or noco charger you need to run repair mode as your last resort.

Default Seems to be batteries

Thanks for all your suggestions. I did check the batteries after they had been charged. They were not holding the charge.
It just seemed so strange that the batteries died with no warning. They were the original batteries. The batteries on my last ford pickup lasted 15 years. I guess they don’t make them like they used to. Thanks again.

There are clocks, and all sorts of memory that consume power even with the vehicle shut down and that explains why they don't seem to hold that charge.
Although the power consumed is small a good battery should hold a good charge for days.
When you say batteries, are you saying your vehicle has more than one battery ? Please clarify, thanks.

Yes. This Pickup has a power inverter. It came with two batteries. It’s a gasoline engine. It definitely has every option. I can see how the battery takes a beating. My pickup sits for weeks at a time. I don’t use it much anymore. Been driving a company vehicle. I tested the batteries Will the engine is running. The voltage was at 14.8 volts.

It really depends on how much you use the inverter, Ford's dual battery factory setup was never designed to run any inverter, you need a custom setup.
Dual batteries with inverter, please read thru this thread: https://www.fordforum.com/forum/othe...08-f450-49184/
