I recently saw this warning light while driving in the rain. I have a 2024 F250 crew cab with 7.3L V8 engine. Does anyone know what it means above the zero (60 mph)?

Hello once more TN, So this morning, while I became driving to work in what regarded to be a monsoon, a noticed that my charging system indicator light/battery mild would come on for just moments at a time and then move backtrack. This took place once I turned into both driving in torrential downpour or via standing water. When conditions have been dry, everything turned into ordinary. At one factor while this became taking place, I heard a excessive pitched whine/grind which I assumed to be a belt. The battery is near new and I don't suppose it's the alternator - as soon as I set to work, I parked the car and turned it off. Turned it lower back on and it cranked up just best. I then grew to become on the whole lot in the car that I could - radio, a/c, wipers, headlights, defrost - just to look if I observed a loss or dimming of electricity. No loss of electricity. From what I can read on different resources, I remember that the serp belt will be slipping because of moisture getting to it. But don't Corollas have computerized tensioners? I checked the serp belt and it's in brilliant condition as well. Tensioner pulley issue made worse via rain probable?? I paid accurate attention to it at the manner home and it drove like regular. So unnecessary to mention, I'm confuddled. I'm thinking if everyone has had any studies like this or has any concept of what may be making that mild come on!

Had this happen personally, just belt slipping from too much water. Not smart to go thru deep water. If done, some areas hit by cold water will suck in water if vent is below level and need to to be drained and refilled to prevent damage. If lube is soupy , drain ASAP.

Can happen with any car !
