Default Driving issue

So today out of nowhere I had a weird issue. I started the car and put it in drive but it didn't move forward. When I hit the accelerator the rpms went really high but it didn't move much and whiteish smoke was coming from the exhaust. So I got it towed to a shop. When they went to diagnose it it was driving fine! But it felt like the e brake was on when driving. Does anybody know what this issue is and what is the fix for it? Is it going to do this again or was it a 1 time thing?

Thanks in advance!

In some older vehicles there was a way for trans fluid to get into the engine and cause white smoke.

Our crystal ball is a little cloudy right now, so we need to know from you the year of your vehicle and the other usual info, thanks.

Its a 2006 SE I believe. I haven't had this issue before, and no issues in 3 years. It seems to have cleared up because it drives fine now but I'm worried it's going to do this again and I do not have the money to fix it.

Might be a good idea to keep an eye on the oil and coolant levels to see if one of them goes down.

Default Update*

So yesterday my manager was looking at it, now there's no crank or start. There is power, but no crank. I'm so confused as to why it wouldn't drive and now won't start.

My fluids are okay, nothing seems to be leaking and fluids are not going down rapidly

If either oil or coolant produce some white smoke,on start up ,the level will drop very slowly. That is what you must check daily or have a shop do some testing to determine why.. No quick fix here.

There is a small oil leak thats getting into the ignition coil area, but has never been a problem before.

Leaks rarely fix themselves, most either stay the same or get worse over time.
If you have it checked out you might have time to think about it, but if ignored , it could become worse when you can least afford it .

Some leaks can go on for months and DO !
Some are telling you something is going on give warning, AND some don't care and seem to let go at the worst time.
