New here. Paint bubbiling? Difficult to find hoses?
hello all. I need your help please. I have a 2005 500 Ltd. One of the BEST cars I have ever owned!
1.) Always garage kept, wash & waxed. 2 years ago, the paint is bubbling and peeling off.? I am hesitant to repaint the entire car or spot paint the infected areas only.
2.) Having a heck of a time locating a replacement Coolant hose from reservoir to engine. (quite long) Rats are chewing up the soy based hoses and knitting.
Any suggestions or guidance? Thank you greatly for your time & this forum, Cheers!

Welcome to the site.
20+ years ago, paint tech wasn't what it is today. I can remember 'tape testing' where relatively new paint was sheeting and blistering off. Tape would be applied a 'ripped off' like waxing hair to test adhesion. If adhesion is now an issue, you're better off stripping the car. Applying new paint over old, even if sealed, sometimes the solvents make bad adhesion even worse.
I know you can buy rodent deterrents packs from Case Equipment etc. They use soy based loom wraps as well that attract rodent damage. Toss a few in the sensitive areas where they like to visit. But they'll chew hood blankets, fender/firewall insulation, wiring as well.
Mint, Irish Spring soap (although I've seen them eat the stuff, but better the soap than looms) and others somewhat work.
Have a pic available of the hose you need?
