Default 2012 Focus Trans 52k, NEED HELP

So I had the clutches replaced by ford about a yr ago with 37k on the car. Car was find and dandy for awhile. Sometimes the car did what seemed to slip into neutral then kick back into gear while driving. The dealer said they couldn't find out what was wrong with it. Yesterday I was driving and the car started bucking, slowing the car down and revving like it slipped out of gear. I few times it was so bad it slowed me to a stop. I tried shifting it in sport mode and it wouldn't even move. The gear select indicator wasn't even highlighting D or S on the display screen. No codes flashed or anything. It has about 52k on it as we speak. I shut the car down for about 20min, took it for a drive and everything seemed to work normally??? Any suggestions what could be going on here?

I do not at this time know the answer to the problem, but the loss of the indicator for D or other gear would cause me to believe there is a loss of signal and it could be anywhere from the trans , through the trans module on up to the instrument cluster module and on to the display. A problem like this requires a capable scan tool to check module health and past functioning.
